When is a Commercial EPC needed?
Commercial buildings in the UK need an Energy Performance Certificate when it is sold or let.
As soon as a building is in the process of sale or rent, it is the responsibility of the seller or landlord to make an EPC available for the prospective buyer or tenant.
This EPC is same as that of a domestic EPC, and the EPC rating is shown on scale A-G. As a domestic EPC, commercial EPC is also valid for 10 years.
