Energy Efficiency Rating of an EPC.
The graphical illustration on EPC indicates the energy efficiency rating for the property. The higher the figure in the ‘current’ column the more energy efficient the property is. The figure in the’ potential’ column is in direct relation to recommendations which appear later in the report.
Summary of property Elements in an EPC.
Features of an EPC is on a scale of very poor (least efficient) to very good (most efficient). The rating appears automatically on an EPC by the software on the entries by the assessor, the higher the rating better the description of the element is.
Recommendations in an EPC.
Based on the information which has been input about each individual dwelling, the software will calculate suggestions for improving the energy efficiency, and these will be in the format as shown below:
